About our company
PVI was founded in 1989 as a General Contracting firm that focused on technical spaces such as Data Centers, Control Rooms and IT laboratories. Bern Gallagher, P.E., PMP, the present President of PVI, purchased the company in 2014. Mr. Gallagher added infrastructure equipment (Switchgear, UPS, DC Plants, generators) sales, installation and his electrical engineering to PVI’s corporate skill set.

Working within the client’s existing OEM relationships, PVI will seek solutions that will utilize the client’s existing infrastructure and expanding on it. The design techniques chosen are intended to be the least disruptive to the client’s existing operations yet still meet the client’s need and long term future requirements.

With extensive experience working in 7x24 environments, PVI will use when possible the client’s maintenance window, write MPOs, and closely manage the execution of the project build. For the project builds PVI will first seek out contractors that the client has a successful working relationship in order to facilitate the execution of the construction in as flawless a manner as possible.
